It’s safe to say all of the dogs we rescue have been on a rough road and that statement definitely doesn’t fall short for Maggie. When we laid eyes on her shaking in the corner of her cage in the quarantine section of the shelter, her skin a complete mess, we knew Maggie needed us. Being low on space thankfully a shelter volunteer stepped up and offered to foster Maggie for us. After two months of a rigorous medical regime which included shampoos, a special diet, and a plethora of medications, Maggie not only looked like a completely different dog but her head no longer hung in a depressed way, in fact she became quite the wiggle butt Maggie was just adopted by a lovely couple and the team here at ESP, Maggie and her new family all couldn’t be happier!! Thank you so much to the awesome team of volunteers that made Maggie’s story a success and the public that constantly supports our efforts. I think its safe to say no more rough roads for Maggie, just comfy couches Happy Tails to you sweet girlie!
